This version of the game is much cleaned up. It is strongly recommended over all previous versions. There are more examples of things such as Expedition setup on the board and the dreaded "No Food" process, a.k.a. "the poor starving Expedition". 2. This version of the game has a terrain generator so the game can be played 100% solo. The terrain generator can be used in regular face to face games also. I have used the terrain generator successfully as a game-master for the players, let them do it themselves, and have used a master map that I kept and only revealed info as an Expedition entered a square. Use whatever method suits your play. They all work. Welcome to Jimland, where anything can happen.
